Ecstatic Cuisine is the sum total of innumerable parts.

Ecstatic Cuisine is owned and directed by Jesse Bloom. Myriad people have contributed to its evolution over many years.

Jesse has been cooking professionally since 1999. His training has included stints in Vegetarian, Asian Pacific, and Texas Cuisine based fine dining. Food has been his primary personal healing path and he has studied and practiced healing diets from the Chinese Medicine Tradition, macrobiotics, and Ayurveda. He incorporates this knowledge with his classical French restaurant training to create dishes that are healthy and positively vibrating with life force. He has been in Austin since 2000 and an active member of the Local Food Movement since that time. His favorite things to do are shop for others at the Austin Farmer's Market and practice Aikido. He has been working as a caterer since 2002 for himself and under the tutelage of the talented team at Austin Catering. Jesse and his partner Lauren are expecting a baby boy in May and he is positively pysched to be a Papa!
