Our
contribution to humanity remaining "Wildly Alive."
Green
Business Practices -
We believe the world is interconnected and that business has a
responsibility to a multiple bottom-line that includes people,
the planet, and profitability.
Local
and Organic Sourcing - We use our connections to local
businesses and farmers to source the highest quality local and
organic ingredients at reasonable prices. As a food producer this
is the single most important thing we can do for the environment.
It means our food has unrivaled flavor, less fossil fuel is used
to transport the ingredients, more money circulates through the
local economy, our sense of community connectedness flourishes,
and the farmers, plants, animals, and ecosystem in our region
benefit. Check out our community connections page to learn more
about the local food movement.
Reduce,
Reuse, Recycle - We use biodegradable disposables, compost
our food waste, and recycle in the continually exploration of
ways to minimize our ecological footprint. If you have ideas about
ways we might become more "green," we welcome your feedback
and suggestions.
Non-Profit
Collaborations -We provide food at a fraction of our regular
cost to non- profit organizations for their special events. Last
year's non-profit collaborators were the Austin to Africa project
and the Amala foundation.
Employment
Practices -We also provide a healthy work environment
and pay our premier staff at a premier level.
